On Tuesday, our co-founder and executive director, Jomaira Ortiz, participated in Charlotte's Social Venture Partners' SEED20 OnStage event, where she competed with 9, other innovative nonprofit leaders for a chance to win various prizes, while connecting with community members eager to learn about the area's innovative programs and projects. After delivering a breathtaking and powerful pitch about the therapy waitlist crisis that exists for children living with autism, Rooted Hearts Ministries was awarded an $8,000 award! The Rooted Hearts Ministries team will partner with The Brand Building Shop to cultivate a strong brand strategy and expand our reach. We are elated to receive this honor and continue the work of reaching more families and changemakers to continue closing the therapy divide that exists for many autistic children and their families!
